From Broken Places to God’s Purpose

There was a time in my life when darkness seemed stronger than hope. I carried pain, made choices I regretted, questioned my worth, and searched for answers in places that could never heal me. Like many people, I smiled on the outside while silently battling wounds on the inside. Yet even in my brokenness, God never stopped pursuing me. Through His love, grace, and mercy, He healed what I thought could never be restored and showed me that my scars were not the end of my story—they were part of His purpose.

My name is Tracye Hawthorne, and I am a woman of faith, redeemed by the blood of Jesus Christ and living as a testimony to His power, grace, and faithfulness. My journey has taught me that healing is possible, restoration is real, and no life is beyond God's reach. Every challenge, every setback, and every victory has shaped the woman I am today and strengthened my desire to help others discover the hope that can only be found in Him.

As God transformed my life, He led me to share my testimony through my book, From Darkness to Light: A Journey Worth the Scars, and to establish A Moment of Reflection—a ministry devoted to encouraging others to pause, reflect, heal, and draw closer to God. Through writing, speaking, radio ministry, and personal encouragement, my mission is to remind people that no matter where they have been or what they have faced, God still has a purpose for their lives.

I don't share my story because I have all the answers. I share it because I know what it feels like to struggle, to question your value, to wrestle with pain, and to wonder if things will ever change. I know what it feels like to carry invisible scars while hoping someone will understand. If you've ever felt broken, overlooked, ashamed, or uncertain about your future, I want you to know that you are not alone. More importantly, I want you to know that God has not forgotten you. His grace is greater than your past, His love is stronger than your pain, and His purpose for your life is greater than anything you have endured.
